About This Program
The Operation Mobile Food Vending Grant supports individuals and small business owners seeking to establish or expand mobile food vending services.
Through this initiative, AHIG aims to strengthen food accessibility, stimulate community entrepreneurship, and promote sustainable job creation across the U.S.
Program Focus Areas Include:
• Mobile food truck acquisition or retrofitting
• Kitchen setup and equipment funding
• Licensing, health permits, and startup costs
• Marketing and local outreach campaigns
• Community nutrition and food access projects
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be AHIG members with verified profiles.
- Must be a U.S. resident aged 18 or older.
- Open to individuals, food truck owners, and small entrepreneurs.
- Proof of business registration or local permit required.
- Priority given to underserved or low-income communities.
Application Process
Interested members can apply directly through their AHIG Member Dashboard under the “Active Programs” section. Each application must include:
- Business proposal or project outline
- Proof of vendor registration or permit
- Budget plan for the requested funding
Applications are reviewed by the AHIG Funding Committee, and selected applicants will be notified via email and dashboard message regarding next steps.
