AHIG stands for American Heart Investment Committee—a membership-based grant initiative that provides funding for individuals, businesses, and nonprofits working to advance health, education, culture, and social services across the U.S.
❓ Who can apply for AHIG grants?
Anyone in the U.S. can apply, provided they fall under one of our supported categories:
- Individuals (students, artists, caregivers, etc.)
- Registered businesses
- Verified nonprofit organizations
❓ Do I need to become a member to apply?
Yes. Membership is required to access the full application and receive funding. Your membership type (Individual, Business, or Nonprofit) determines the type and size of grants available to you.

❓ How much grant money can I receive?
Grant amounts vary depending on membership type, project scope, and current funding cycle. Individual grants typically range from $1,000–$10,000. Business and nonprofit grants may exceed $50,000.
❓ Is AHIG a government grant?
No. AHIG is a private grant committee funded by partners, donors, and investment allocations. While we collaborate with public initiatives, we are not a government agency.
