Volunteer intake
Support the AHIG Charities Distributor's Committee.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the AHIG Charities Distributor's Committee. The committee works within the AHIG Board to receive, manage, and distribute charitable resources from sponsors, partners, and the Board of Directors.
Volunteers may help support distributions of financial assistance, food supplies, relief materials, equipment, and digital devices, according to AHIG policy, donor intent, and compliance standards.
Minimum requirements
Before you submit interest, make sure the role is a fit.
Verified AHIG membership
Volunteers must have verified AHIG membership and access to the official application portal.
Prior award or benefit
Applicants should have previously applied for and been awarded at least one AHIG grant or program benefit.
Ethical conduct
Volunteers must be willing to sign an Oath of Ethical Conduct centered on transparency, accountability, and non-misuse of resources.
District reporting
Volunteers must follow assigned District Leader instructions and provide accurate reporting as requested.
Important dates
Annual Membership Conference Bootcamp
September 8-10, 2026. Attendance may be required for newly admitted distributors unless otherwise approved.
Volunteer support
Conditional support and assistance
AHIG may offer conditional support, including possible application cost coverage, financial assistance programs, and emergency support. All support is subject to eligibility review, documentation, approval, and available funding.
